Watch and pray so that you might not enter into temptation

Beloved children of My Divine Heart, today I want to tell you that you have to put more effort into overcoming temptations, because you will never lack temptations, but you must confront them and put a face to them in order not to fall into them. I, Jesus, am speaking to you.
You must to set out to pray and do it more assiduously and with more fervor. Do not say that you do not have time, because what you do not have is the inclination. You have time to watch television programs, to read the news, to do sport and other things, but you do not want to take time to pray, and yet I assure you that as soon as you pray a few days in a row, you will not be able to do without prayer, because you will notice the well-being and spiritual peace that it gives you and the strength that you receive through it.
To pray is to talk to Me and tell me about your business, however difficult it may be. And even though I know it, if you tell it to me you will see that inner peace comes to you when you unburden yourselves to Me, as I can do everything, as I love you and as I understand you as even your mothers do not understand you. If you do not pray, you will fall into temptation 1001 times, and this is especially true for priests, as there are fewer and fewer priests praying and they carry out their ministry like one doing a job, period, not with the faith and fervor that are necessary, and above all, with love for Me. I, Jesus, am speaking to you.
"Watch and pray", I told you in My public life, so that you would not enter into temptation (Mt, 26-41); I did not tell you this so that you would not have temptations, but so that you would not fall into them. To have temptations is not wrong and to overcome them gives you great merit, but the condition is this: pray in order not to fall into temptation, and above all, do not put yourselves in danger of having them. Because if an alcoholic gets to work in a liquor store, being so close to temptation, he will fall sooner or later.
Whoever knows that something tempts them and that they can fall into it, it is better for them to separate themselves from that which can be a cause of sin. But prayer has such power and strength that it turns your weaknesses into maturity because My grace through prayer flows like a spring flows in nature. You cannot say that you are good Christians if you fulfill the Commandments, practise the Sacraments but leave prayer aside. Set out to do it whenever you can. There will be days when you really cannot, but then try to fill that time with work full of the spirit of prayer and with spontaneous prayers or prayers in the middle of your duties, so that during the day or your obligations you would lift yourselves up to God through these little prayers that you offer Me. A Hail Mary in the midst of inner torment or in the midst of your occupations ascends to Heaven and you are the first to benefit. I, Jesus, am speaking to you and instructing you.
