At that period when Antichrist shall be born, there will be many wars and right order shall be destroyed on earth. Heresy will be rampant and the heretics will preach their errors openly without restraint. This confrontation lies within the plans of divine Providence; it is a trial which the whole Church, and the Polish Church in particular, must take up. |↑2||At the moment, it seems that the Synodal process just initiated is being widely championed as a means of renewal of the Church; while this message does not criticize the Synod per se, it does serve as a stark warning against breaks with the true faith which may be presented as initiatives of the Holy Spirit (as has already been seen in other Christian churches in terms of changes to teaching on sexual ethics etc.). As we know from many other sources over the last 200 years or so — at least since the revelations to Anne-Catherine Emmerich and Elisabetta Canori Mora — the revival of the Church will only occur on the other side of purification, although the first signs of that renewal are already visible in the gathering of small communities of faithful resistance to apostasy (St. John Paul II called such things the signs of a “new springtime” in the Church).
