✞ True trust reproduces Divine Life in the soul.
I saw the Risen Jesus with the signs of the passion on his hands and feet. Jesus was dressed in a resplendent white tunic; all around were a myriad of angels singing the Gloria.
May Jesus Christ be praised
“Children, brothers and sisters, friends, do not be discouraged but keep on praying; do not turn away from me: I will give you the strength to face all evil, I will be by your side and will guard you so that you would not fall into the eternal abyss. Friends, there is no greater love than that of giving one's life for one's friends. I did so out of love in order to be able to give you salvation; I took upon me all your sins and in dying I defeated death. My children, my love for you exceeds all things: I offered myself for you, for each one of you, and I continue to do so in the Holy Mass. Brothers and sisters, I did not hold jealously onto my divinity*, but I became a man among men, humble among the humble, little among the little ones. I learned to be one of you, to live, love, suffer, as one of you, in order to understand you, comprehend you, love you with greater strength.
My dear friends, brothers and sisters, there is no sin great enough to be able to separate you from me; repent and be reconciled with the sacrament of confession. When you fall I am there, ready to give you my hand and help you get up.
My brothers and sisters, I admonish you: pray in order not to fall into temptation, pray to strengthen yourselves. God the Father is good and just, the God of infinite mercy, and to each person he will give what they deserve.
I give you my holy blessing: in the name of God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit."
Amen.
[* Italian: non ho ritenuto gelosa la mia divinità. This should not be interpreted as suggesting that Jesus was less than fully Divine during his earthly life, but as emphasizing the supreme humility of the Incarnation, as in the Kenosis passage in Philippians ch. 2 alluded to here.
